Marcgravia umbellata was the first species of Marcgravia to be botanically classified in the early 18th century. Marcgravia umbellata is a small leaved species of Marcgravia that has contrasting white – silver venation and looks amazing when growing around terrarium background and hardscape.
Marcgravia are neotropical plants, mostly lianas, with distribution throughout Central and South America, Marcgravia umbellata is native to the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean.
